Don't know how this leaked so early, but here is the studio version of "17", from Avril's 5th album. We have previously heard this song, but in a live version. Sounds great!

My new favorite shoot! Mark Liddell photographed Avril on July 24 in Los Angeles for a Vanity Fair Italy photo shoot! We can most likely expect a magazine spread coming soon.

Avril was in Toronto last night to perform at the Wham Bam festival along side acts like Robin Thicke and Classified. Personally, her outfit, hair and makeup for the pre-show interviews is the best I have seen her look. Just gorgeous! She also performed Rock N Roll for the first time ever! The performance could have had more energy, but her vocals sound great.

Canadian chanteuse Avril Lavigne is known for her her rock ‘n roll vibe and now she’s asking fans in Toronto and around the world to help her rock-out to one of her old tunes. The Avril Lavigne Foundation is teaming up with the city’s Women’s College Hospital to provide fans with a once-in-a-lifetime chance to sing with Avril on a remixed version of the singer’s inspirational ballad, “Keep Holding On.”

“I am excited to have my fans’ voices join together with me in support of Women’s College Hospital,” Avril said. “The Avril Lavigne Foundation works to help kids, their families and communities feel like rockstars, so we’re proud to be a part of this special campaign for the Toronto community.”

Fans can record their voices to track on the spot at the Raise Your Voice sound booth, which will stop at various locations around Toronto starting on August 31 and continue until the end of September. Once all the recordings have been submitted, the track will be remixed and released internationally on iTunes with proceeds benefiting Women’s College Hospital.

So how do you submit your voice? Belt it loud and proud at one of the Raise Your Voice sound booths listed below. Be sure to check in to the Facebook page for the updated list and any added locations. And for those of you who don’t live in Toronto, Avril hasn’t forgotten about you, you can still join the recording by submitting your voice online at singwithavril.com.

It's official! Avril's 5th album, titled AVRIL LAVIGNE will now be released NOVEMBER 5! The album has been pushed back from the September 24 release date that was previously reported (but not actually officially recognized). Preorder for the album will be available September 24.

Here are more radio interviews:

If you haven't already seen Avril Lavigne's video for "Rock 'N' Roll," just be forewarned that the clip basically defies a cohesive description. Between the pop singer's warrior-military garb, the car driven by a dog, the famous guest stars (including a smooch with "Wonder Years" actress Danica McKellar!), the blade-adorned guitar...oh yeah, and the bearshark...this is one heck of a sensational visual journey.

In fact, as the director of the clip himself puts it, it's crazy, absurd, and badass, which is just the way rock 'n' roll should be, right? Yahoo! Music is excited to present this exclusive behind-the-scenes video detailing the making of this opus, with more director's commentary, as well as Lavigne herself weighing in on the action.

Meet the dog! See Sid from Slipknot chuck a baby doll! Get the inside scoop and a closeup on that kiss with "Winnie!" Watch the bearshark twerk! (Well, okay, maybe that's taking it a bit far, but he does do a little dance. ) It's all here.

Rock 'n' roll is NOT dead, indeed. Enjoy!
