FINALLY, we have a 30 second preview of What The Hell! I really like it! It sounds very contemporary and goes with whats on the radio right now and is extremely catchy. I think (and hope) that this will be great for Avril! If you don't like it, don't worry, because Avril has said that this is the most pop sounding song on the record. This is sooo exciting! All I want is to mess around And I, I, I don't really care about If you love me If you hate me You can save me Baby, baby All my life I've been good, but now Whoooooooa what the hell! What? What? What the hell |

AbbeyDawn.com opens tomorrow, and if you are one of the first 50 people to make an order, you will receive a free "What The Hell" tshirt and an autograph! Make sure to do it early (like, as soon as the site launches) because I sure they will go fast and you won't be able to know if you are one of the 50 or not. Hey guys - a few more final tweaks on the @AbbeyDawn store and we're there. Back 2 U really soon with the details! - xoxo That also means that Abbey Dawn has an official Twitter account! Make sure you tweet it (and @AvrilLavigne) about how excited we, at Avril-L.org, are for all of her upcoming projects! |

NEW AVRIL (WRITTEN) SONG |

Avril, along with hit maker Max Martin and Shellback wrote this song entitled "Dancing Crazy", which was recently recorded by Miranda Cosgrove (the same girl who has "Daydream" on her debut CD). This is the same team who wrote "What The Hell", "Smile", "Wish You Were Here", and "Stop Standing There" for "Goodbye Lullaby". It's a catchy song and I could picture Avril singing it, but I hope she doesn't go this route for the whole album (very pop sounding). Enjoy! |

ALBUM COVER AND RELEASE DATE! |

AHHHHHHH IT'S OFFICIAL!!!! Sorry for not posting earlier, just got home from work.... BUT... Here is an excerpt from the press release on her website that you can read in full here. Among its upbeat tracks are "What the Hell," an unabashed embrace of fun and freedom, and "Stop Standing There," fueled by an early-‘50s girl-group feel. The album runs the gamut of emotions: Lavigne expresses her gratitude for special people in her life in the rocker "Smile," explores the dynamics of a relationship in "Push," shows her vulnerable side in "Wish You Were Here," and finds the strength to close one chapter of her life and move on to the next in the title track "Goodbye." Even more song titles were revealed on the new Avril Lavigne Bio posted on avrillavigne.com. Read the full bio here. “I pushed myself and didn’t hold back,” Lavigne says of Goodbye Lullaby for which she wrote or co-wrote every song, and wrote and produced two — “4 Real” and “Goodbye” — entirely on her own. “I allowed myself to be vulnerable. I think it’s during the real moments that people can relate the most. Those who have heard the album have had very strong emotional reactions to the songs, so I realized that when something is so real, it will probably touch somebody. The beauty of music is that it’s open to interpretation.” |
