[EDIT] Avril just performed My Happy Ending and Girlfriend, looking gorgeous in a bed dress with a Canadian flag belt and a little tattoo on her arm (fake, of course). She also performed with the full band. Pictures and video to come very soon!

Just a reminder, Avril is performing at the closing ceremonies of the Olympics in Vancouver TONIGHT. No idea what she is performing, but here's hoping that it's the first ever "Alice" performance!

The ceremonies start at 5:30 PM PST (8:30 PM EST) and are very long so those not in North America should not wait up lol. I will post all media here tomorrow

Dipple is one of Avril's friends (who is Derycks friend) and he does some videographing for Avril (he did the making of TBDT and was seen at the Alice video shoot)

[Mel, if you remember, in later 2008, Avril said that in 2009 she would be acting in a film. She said it would be dark and different than anything she had done before. When I heard that she made a song for Alice in Wonderland, I thought maybe she was going to act in the film, but something happened that prevented it. Maybe she is just making a song instead. However, based on what she has blogged on her website today, January 31, and what she said in her recent interview with Ryan Seacrest, it looks like she never was intending on being in Alice in Wonderland. So what acting part do you think was suppose to happen, but didn't?]
You are right. She talked about that a lot, but my guess is that it didn't work out. I think it was suppose to be something independent and 'dark', and a lead role. It definitely wasn't Alice in Wonderland though.
