Avril Lavigne’s comeback is in full swing, and we’re so excited about it.
The superstar announced on Oct. 15 that in 2020, she’ll be heading out on a world tour following the success of the U.S. run in support of her first album in six years, Head Above Water. The 11-show leg will kicking off in March in Milan, Italy before heading to major cities like Amsterdam, Paris, and Berlin. She’ll then head across continents to Asia, performing in China, Japan, Shanghai, Tokyo and Bangkok, among others.
‘We had the most amazing time performing on the US Head Above Water Tour!” Lavigne said in a press statement. “I can’t believe how quickly it went by. Seeing all your faces each night and feeling your energy was exactly what I needed. I truly missed being up on stage, singing with you and this has brought me so much happiness which is why I’m even more excited to announce that I’ll be taking the Head Above Water Tour worldwide next year with dates in Europe, Japan, China and Southeast Asia!”
In Europe, €2 from each ticket and in the U.K., £2 from each ticket will be donated to The Avril Lavigne Foundation, which supports people with Lyme Disease, serious illness or disabilities.
Tickets go on sale Oct. 18. For more information, visit https://avrillavigne.com, and see below for the full list of European tour dates below.
