If you live in the New York area, Avril will be appearing at Lucky Strikes Lanes in New York City on Tuesday November 22 to promote Picksies, a new location app and there are several contests to get you into that party! The VIP night includes food, drinks, dancing, and bowling with Avril! The contests are only open to US residents, 18 years and up, and transportation is not included. Good luck!
Avril took to her Twitter to update us that she was in the studio last night, writing and recording 2 new songs! This is what she had to say:

Avril took to her Twitter to show us a super cute picture of her and Deryck hanging out last night, saying "Hanging with one of the most special people to me in this world....real friends last #FOREVER". This is also the first time we are seeing her since the awful attack against her and Brody a few weeks ago.

Here is the full video of "Keep Holding On" from Majors & Minors. It includes the kids practicing, Avril singing with them, Avril singing Wish You Were Here, and answering some questions. I love seeing this Kennedy girl (and all the other kids) so excited talking about Avril!
In a list released from Epic Records, it seems like they are doing their best to promote "Wish You Were Here". Glad to see that they also see the great potential of the song.

Why'd they have to go and make things so complicated?
Canadian songwriter/producer David Foster said "I do" to model Yolanda Hadid on Friday, Us Weekly confirms. But the bride and groom weren't the only stars of the day: a source tells Us that Avril Lavigne and Kate Hudson sang a duet. (Hudson, 32, sang in Rob Marshall's 2009 musical Nine.)
Lavigne, 27, attended the ceremony with boyfriend Brody Jenner; Foster, 62, was married to Jenner's mom Linda Thompson from 1991 to 2005.
Fellow Canadian Michael Buble crooned at the reception, and Kenny G went from table to table playing his saxophone at dinner.
The groom's daughter, Erin, was in attendance with pal Samantha Ronson. Lindsay Lohan's ex "tried to DJ, but was told no," said a source.
This was the fourth marriage for Foster, who is known for composing tracks like "Grown Up Christmas List" and "I Have Nothing," as well as discovering artists including Buble, Josh Groban and Charice
Avril will be appearing at this years Santa Claus Parade in Toronto on Nov 20. No word on if she is performing or just appearing, but I would assume performing.

The guy who hit Brody Jenner with a beer bottle Sunday morning was talking a LOT of trash before things got violent ... even calling BJ a "douche" ... this according to a witness.
A person who watched the fight go down at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood early Sunday morning tells us Brody's attacker appeared drunk before the ruckus -- and was running his mouth "for no reason."
Brody DID jaw back at the drunk guy ... but we're told BJ did NOT strike first.
Sources say ... when the guy hit Brody with the bottle, his friends rushed in and attacked both BJ and Avril, who happened to be standing next Brody at the time.
We're told Brody needed a couple of stitches to close the gash from the bottle attack and Avril has been "laying low and icing her wounds" -- which consist of a black eye, bloody nose and all sorts of other stuff.
Our source is adamant ... "Brody and Avril didn't do anything to start the fight ... just a bunch of drunk people getting out of hand."
